WASH all this then? A sizzling vid of hotel heirhead Paris Hilton ...

The 26-year-old man-eater straddles a Bentley, soaps herself into a lather and saucily sucks at her fingers in the ad for burger chain Carl's Jr.

Watch Paris Hilton get wet and wild on video

Carl's Jr bosses made the most of Paris' assets by making her clamber all over a car, stripped to just a skimpy swimsuit.

Paris eventually remembers what she's advertising and crawls alongside the black motor to bite into the spicy BBQ burger.

TV bosses in America have banned the ad - deeming it to hot.

But just like some of her previous film work the scenes have hit the internet and we've got our hands on the saucy clip.

Douglas Pils: Where will Romo fall in pecking order of Cowboys' QBs?

Has Clemens sullied Texas' good name and done a disservice to all those who came before him by making himself look silly in the past week?

That's what bothers us about whether or not Clemens had trainer Brian McNamee inject him with steroids and human growth hormone.

If true, this isn't Mark McGwire or Barry Bonds, people who are easy to mock from afar. No, if true, this one hits closer to home.

You wanted to hear this kind of indignation from McGwire, but in the back of your mind you knew he couldn't do it. McGwire followed the "rules" of the day and he did it better than anyone until Bonds.

Now, we're left to wonder if Clemens is less like Ryan and more like Big Mac.

Coming at us with the "third-ear-out-of-my-forehead" defense doesn't sound like a man intent on making us believe him.

Jan. 16, 1936: Day at the Races, and Your Nag in a Photo Finish

1936: A photo-finish camera is installed at Florida's Hialeah Race Track. It marks the first use of the device for thoroughbred horse racing, the sport with which it is most closely associated.

Aside from the ponies, photo-finish cameras are used at track meets, in auto racing and in bicycle racing -- anywhere, in fact, where the winner is determined by competitors hitting a finish line.

The photo-finish camera was originally a conventional still camera modified to handle rapid multiple imaging by replacing the focal-plane shutter with a capping shutter and employing a vertical slit-view of the finish line. The camera was elevated to avoid blocking the view of any one competitor.

With refinements, which resulted in a dramatic increase in the number of photographs taken per second, this remained the basic photo-finish technology until the advent of digital photography.

McCain's CPAC Suck-up

I don't want my 17-year-old son to have to pick tomatoes or make beds in Las Vegas."

Has Rove accidentally ripped the mask off the vicious social inegalitarianism of Bush's immigration plan, as Mark Krikorian argues, or does a more benign interpretation of his comments save him? It's not like he hasn't said this sort of thing before, apparently. Indeed, his June, 2006 version makes the probable context of last week's remark quite clear--and Rove's not simply "saying that every parent wants their child to have a high-skilled, high-wage job," as the White House's damage control suggests. Here's the 2006 pitch:

"Now frankly," Rove said during a riff on the temporary worker part of President Bush's immigration reform plan, "I don't want my kid digging ditches. I don't want my kid slinging tar.

Van Gundy sits Dwight Howard after clash

Orlando Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy says he and superstar Dwight Howard have "a little bit of conflict" and it finally manifested itself into Van Gundy's benching and postgame blasting of his all-star center on Monday night.

The Magic's 118-111 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Amway Arena became a footnote after the Howard-Van Gundy dustup.

Van Gundy said he sat Howard for a two-minute stretch of a fairly tight game in the fourth quarter after Howard said something he didn't like.

Auto buyers not in mood for luxury Analysts foresee market decline in ...

CHICAGO — Automakers are introducing plenty of luxury vehicles at this year's Chicago Auto Show, from the $78,000 Yes! roadster to Porsche's performance-oriented Cayenne GTS.

But the models may be met by empty wallets. Analysts and some automakers predict luxury sales will fall this year as the nation's economic woes put a pinch on high-end buyers.

"Typically in a declining market, you usually don't see luxury vehicles drop off. The drop-off in luxury sales is at a rate much slower than the overall market, and that is because of the wealth factor," said Joe Barker, senior manager of North American vehicle sales forecasting for CSM Worldwide.

"But in recent months it appears even the affluent car buyers are even pulling back a bit on auto purchases."

Peter Schwarzenbauer, president and chief executive of Porsche Cars North America, said Thursday that Porsche has seen a downturn in U.S.

Mesquite, Nev., boasts a fair way to play

Jim Longlas, a Los Angeles-area resident who repairs MRI machines for a living, was having a cold beverage at Wolf Creek Golf Club this fall and extolling the virtues of Mesquite as a golf destination.

''Las Vegas got to be too big and too expensive and too crazy,'' he said. ``Here, you look out at night and it's quiet and the stars are out, and you don't hear any traffic.''

In two sentences, Longlas came close to summing up what makes Mesquite appealing for a growing number of visitors. Situated 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, the town of about 1,800 offers Vegas-style amenities -- quality golf, a desert climate, mountain scenery and gambling -- but at a lower price and a more relaxed, congestion-free pace.

Mesquite has six golf courses and seven hotels -- four of which are casino hotels -- and two spas.
